#CelestialTea

So I finally got a chance to try the Celestial Seasoning Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea that came in the Frosty Vox Box from Influenster. I had a happy surprise when I opened the sample packet to use the tea and there were two tea bags inside. Full disclosure: I am not a huge fan of heavily mint flavored teas. The tea smells like a tea you would enjoy with dessert after your Christmas dinner. The flavor of the tea was a bit odd. I'm guessing that is because they mixed green tea with an added flavor that is generally found in black tea. I normally don't sweeten my tea, but I added Splenda to it and it helped a bit. My favorite part about the tea is that there is a nice refreshing aftertaste because of the mint/peppermint.

#Rimmel

As promised here is a bit more on the Rimmel products that were in the Frosty Vox Box from Influenster. The two Rimmel products included were Gentle Eye Makeup Remover and Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner. I really like this eyeliner. It goes on super smooth and is truly waterproof pending you aren't rubbing at your eyes. The makeup remove is alright. I like anything that I put on my face to be oil free, which this remover is. I dislike how watery the remover is, making it hard to use if you don't have any cotton pads. I used the remover with the waterproof eyeliner; it was able to remove the eyeliner, but it took a lot of scrubbing. Not sure if that is because the eyeliner is a higher quality than most waterproof makeup or if the remover isn't as strong as it claims.

#FrostyVoxBox

Just received the Frosty Vox Box in the mail from Influenster. I've posted pictures of all the products on Pinterest.

The following freebies were in the box:

No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum: I have yet to try this product out. It came in a small sample packet. The box also included a $2.00 off coupon for the product. More to come about this serum in a future blog or video post.
Cost: $11.99

EcoTool Hair Brush: This brush works surprisingly well considering it has flexible bristles. It was able to get all the knots out of my long hair. My only complaint is that the brush claims to have a "frizz and static-fighting design" yet when I brushed my dry hair, it made the static worse.
Cost: 10.99

Fruit Vines Bites: These bites are pretty tasty. When I first saw the bag, I thought that these would be similar to Welch's Fruit Snack, but they are far from it. These bites are actually a "soft chewy fruity candy" and do not appear to contain any fruit at all. The bites aren't too, too sweet. Their downfall is the lack of real fruit in them and that they stick to your teeth.
Cost: $1.28 - $1.79

Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea: I have tried Celestial's green teas in the past and have loved them. Their tea has a very good, yet unique flavor. I am envisioning that this tea will taste like a peppermint version of their green tea. The box also included a $0.55 off coupon for the product. More to come about this tea in a future blog post.

McCormick Gourmet Thyme: I love McCormick seasonings, but always end up buying the generic brand because of cost. This seasoning will be a great addition to my tomato mozzarella pasta.
Cost: $4.79

NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum: I initially thought this color was going to be way to dark for my pale skin, but it ended up being the perfect shade. The color has a nice shine to it and lasts well. Based on the quality and the price, I would definitely try this in other shades.
Cost: $1.99

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeline: This eyeliner goes on very smooth and truly is waterproof.
Cost: $4.49

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover: This product is oil free and claims to remove long lasting waterproof makeup.
Cost: $7.49

More to come about the Rimmel products in a future blog.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
